It’s Absolutely Delightful To Print Out This Easter Story Coloring Book
This is excellent for your family. It’s also great for Sunday School Classes.
This comes from My Wonder Studio. This link has the pages colored and includes the story.
Click the image on the right and you’ll be taken to the pages you can color along with your children or Sunday School class.
This is a fun project that can be set up as a diorama or play set where children can tell the story and act out the parts. It is excellent to tell the story of Easter . . . it’s great to have Easter Egg Hunts and Easter Bunnies and Easter Baskets . . . but it is important to remember and teach the true meaning of Easter.
Too often we get away from the true meaning of holidays . . . they usually translate to getting a day off work or for children a day or week or two from school.
I’m not on a soap box . . . parents can teach their children what they want about holidays . . . if you’re so inclined . . . this is an excellent resource for you to use.
This coloring book opens up a wonderful discussion you can have with your children. Children can make the characters and scenery stand up using clay or play-do . . . or you could add strips of paper to make them stand up.
I do hope you and your family enjoy these free printables and will use them during this Easter season.
And with spring comes thoughts of Easter . . . and with Easter comes thoughts of Bunnies and Chicks and Chocolate and . . .
With crafts, we do become children once again . . . and these little bunny paper dolls from Jennifer J. Bell are adorable. The fun is to make your own clothes for these paper bunny dolls . . . you can decorate them however you want . . . and put them in many settings of spring . . . maybe at a picnic or playing in the park . . . having a BBQ . . . getting dressed up for church . . . just about everything is possible when you create your own clothes and settings for these adorable paper doll bunnies.
They would make nice Easter cards . . .
I’m very appreciative of the many talented people who generously share their designs. I’ve always said, this is just the beginning. The designers are the inspiration for you to create your own variations . . . make the clothes your own . . . write your own message on the t-shirt . . . dress them up . . . create backgrounds . . . you may find you may want to put them on your hard boiled Easter eggs . . .
These are so cute and would be lovely to put in your craft collection. I may want to use ribbon and bows . . . make some ladies and gentlemen . . . create a whole family of them . . . having a delightful time on a beautiful spring day . . . or Easter Sunday with an Easter Egg Hunt . . .
This design would look nice on fresh baked cookies . . . or put around the border of an Easter cake . . . just use them as a template for your decorating endeavors. I do like their simple contours and the vintage look they seem to have about them . . . this truly makes them timeless . . . and suitable for all age groups . . .
See what inspires you with these adorable bunnies.
This is an easy way to do it without a lot of fuss and mess.
You’ll need eggs, of course, a bulb syringe or nasal aspirator and a bowl for the egg goo.
Just poke a small hole in the top of your egg and a larger hole in the bottom of your egg. Then firmly press the aspirator against the top or smaller hole and gently blow the air into the egg.
The egg contents will then drop through the larger hole and into the bowl. You may have to do this several times to make sure you got all the egg goo out of your egg shell.
You then wash out your egg shell and dry them . . .
You can then die your eggs and do all kinds of fancy stuff to your egg shells. You may want to decoupage them and use them in a garland or wreath in honor of Easter. You may want to decorate them to keep them throughout the year. You can paint them, put lace and ribbon around them, even bead them . . . and there is also carving them very carefully.
There are several things you can do . . . just allow your imagination to soar.
Remember to keep your egg carton to store them safely from breaking.
Have fun! I hope you learned something new here . . . I did.
It’s Good To Have Some Fun With Your Easter Sunday Breakfast
Pancakes seem to be the best place to begin when creating a holiday breakfast . . . or brunch.
The batter works well when making the various shapes . . . like the ears . . . and using large and small ovals for the head, body and feet. Then the fun begins with adding fruit and whipped cream for the tail.
I’m sure you can create some ideas of your own. The image is only the beginning.
You can stack your pancakes the other way and decorate the face rather than the tail . . . or just do the face and add cheese and fruit . . . The possibilities are absolutely endless.
The trick is to find food your children like . . . and make it fun.
And, older children and adults may get into the spirit and enjoy the fun creative breakfasts from their childhood. It’s quite nice to relive your childhood . . . for the moment. We all need a bit of merriment during the various holidays to bring joy into our lives.
Let’s put some fun into our daily celebrations . . . not just for special holidays . . . celebrate spring with flower pancakes or use hearts regularly to let your family know how much you love them. We probably don’t tell them enough . . . or we need to show it rather tell them.
I hope this gave you some ideas for your own Easter Breakfast . . . whether with family or alone . . . you can make every day special.
It doesn’t matter how old you get, these two seem to make any holiday celebration better. I guess there are some things we never outgrow.
I was hoping this would be more than an Easter Egg stand, but hey, they are cute and they add to the festivities. You can always adapt them by wrapping them around cups or juice boxes . . . maybe as a band around a box of goodies . . . there is truly no limit to the possibilities you can imagine.
Just click the image and you’ll be taken to the page where you can print out Mickey and Minnie. They do seem happy about Easter . . . I do wonder what Minnie is thinking . . . maybe what a beautiful for an Easter Egg Hunt or to just sit and enjoy the nice spring weather.
We do have much to think about this Easter . . . counting our blessings and sharing the day with family and friends.
I hope you enjoy these little egg stands . . . and have found other uses for them as well.
I Love Having A Formal Easter Dinner With Linen Napkins
But how do you do it?
Martha Stewart is usually my source for learning something new and valuable to dress up my dinners.
Just click the image and you’ll be taken to the directions. They are a bit of a challenge initially, but after you make several, they become much easier.
They are definitely worth the effort. I do love them and I know my guests will, too.
Since I’m into paper crafts, I’ve found folding napkins to be much easier. And, who’s to say you can’t try these out with quality rectangle paper napkins. You’ll just have to be a bit more careful, but it is possible . . . but there is definitely something to be said for a linen napkin.
I suppose it’s all origami . . .
And this video tutorial will give you and your family many hours of fun . . . and frustration . . . No, I’m just messing with you. You’ll be having bunnies all over the house in various colors.
Do you plan on giving it a try?
