I’ve Always Found Dolls To Be Creepy … But They Are Popular And Toy Manufacturers Still Make Them … And People Buy Them … What’s Up With That?

The same can be said for clowns and other toys that seem creepy … It’s all a matter of one’s own thoughts on the subject … A house … an apartment building … a shopping mall … just about anything can be considered creepy … I’m into Tarot cards … 

While on YouTube I found this video talking about the Bratz Dolls … I was never into them …. but the concept of them intrigued me … Anything new can be interesting …

I value making your own decisions about the toys you choose for your children … 

If you or your child has a collection of Bratz Dolls, this would make an excellent photo opportunity using your smart phone … A subject that will stand still while you’re preparing your shots …

How much input did the parents contribute? They seem to have a say in what toy manufacturers continue making or discontinuing … Parents are the ones with the money …

Thinking Christmas?

The Neighborhood Is Buzzing With Excitement …

Getting the Christmas lights up and all the associated decorations … I’m not aware that it’s an official neighborhood competition, but it does seem to be with some … 

I’m not part of that group … It’s not that I have anything against Christmas or Christmas lights … It’s just that I don’t necessarily like following what others are doing. When I’m ready and have the notion to do so, I’ll put up my Christmas lights and lawn decorations … Until then I’m not going to be all lit up …

Plus I Did Not Give The Neighbors The Satisfaction Of Taking Pictures And Giving Compliments

Just call me Scrooge … 

Quite a few years ago I wrote a post about making a Christmas tree using books. This was exciting!! You could use old books you had on hand or gather up some from a thrift shop or used book store. Just add lights and you have a very interesting conversation piece …

You could use whatever else you have handy … CDs or DVDs … Perhaps add those with hardcover and paperback books … Perhaps you do jigsaw puzzles and would like to have a stack of those along with other items to make your unique Christmas tree … I’m wondering about using Tarot Decks … That may prove to be interesting.

We have hobbies and collections of things that may lend themselves to a very original display in the shape of a tree … Weave in the Christmas lights and you have a homemade Christmas tree … 

This could be a fun family project … I wonder how favorite toys would work … Or collectables … You tree could have a very unique shape … This may make it more unique and an expression of your family … Make it yours …

It’s Always Fun To See An Idea — A Christmas Tree Made Out Of Books And Create One Of Your Own To Express Your Interests Or Those Of Your Family

Include them in your project and it will bring more meaning to the holiday season …

I love tradition, but I’m all into creativity and imagination. 

I was thinking about food containers, too — different boxes of favorite foods … tins, too … My goodness, you could use just about everything … On your next shopping trip for groceries, you may just be thinking about this post and the book tree …

It’s Cold And Windy … May Be Bringing In Some Rain Clouds …

I’m truly excited that autumn is here!! There is truly something exciting about colder weather that gets me motivated to accomplish so very much more … It seems to be an exellent time for creativity in whatever form that takes …

Years ago I made an autumn tree … it was a artificial Christmas tree … I put it in a colander and decorated it with fall items … Decorate it with things of the season … spooky Halloween stuff … Thanksgiving items … things to do with baking and being harvest … also being thankful …

It may be worthwhile to create one for all seasons … Or include them all together in one tree … I’m sure you’ll find your interests blend quite well together from season to season …

It’s Always Fun To Be A Kid Again And Play In A Pile Of Leaves …

And excellent opportunity for you to go around the neighborhood and see how many families are working together raking leaves and kids playing in them …

This is a good time to get out in nature and see all the abundance around us … We are very fortunate … If we would only look around …

That’s the beauty of having a smart phone, you can always take pictures or videos … As well as reaching out to family and friends.

We’re experiencing rain and in the higher elevations snow … It’s all quite exciting!! 

I’m not out playing in the leaves … I’m cozy and warm inside with my precious Yorkie … It’s a nice day to sit with family and friends telling a few tall tales or even some ghost stories … I encourage you to visit my new website CryptKickers.com where you’ll find some interesting ghost stories and paranormal investigatiI’mons … I’m finding many are using their smart phones to capture apparitions and paranormal activity … They find it much handier to work with along with their ghost hunting equipment. I find it all quite interesting that a smart phone has all the bells and whistles to do several tasks to make life so much easier.

I do hope everyone is having a delightful Thanksgiving!! Hopefully, no one is stuck on the roads … This is a busy traffic day to get to friends and family … Be safe!!

I was watching a Live YouTube presentation a few days ago and the woman asked about everyone’s Thaniksgiving plans … Then said, “please don’t tell me you’re going to be alone … That makes me sad …” Well, it doesn’t have to be sad … Sometimes things don’t work out … We can’t get to our loved ones … But we can reach out to them … It doesn’t have to be physical contact … The internet connects us quite nicely …

We create our happiness … We share it online with friends, family and strangers … This could be a good thing … Many YouTubers do what they do to reach out to others … They share parts of their lives … and if we care we follow them or subscribe to them … Look for the positve … don’t get bogged down in the drama of others …
