It’s Seems A Lot Like Spring
And with spring comes thoughts of Easter . . . and with Easter comes thoughts of Bunnies and Chicks and Chocolate and . . .
With crafts, we do become children once again . . . and these little bunny paper dolls from Jennifer J. Bell are adorable. The fun is to make your own clothes for these paper bunny dolls . . . you can decorate them however you want . . . and put them in many settings of spring . . . maybe at a picnic or playing in the park . . . having a BBQ . . . getting dressed up for church . . . just about everything is possible when you create your own clothes and settings for these adorable paper doll bunnies.
They would make nice Easter cards . . .
I’m very appreciative of the many talented people who generously share their designs. I’ve always said, this is just the beginning. The designers are the inspiration for you to create your own variations . . . make the clothes your own . . . write your own message on the t-shirt . . . dress them up . . . create backgrounds . . . you may find you may want to put them on your hard boiled Easter eggs . . .
These are so cute and would be lovely to put in your craft collection. I may want to use ribbon and bows . . . make some ladies and gentlemen . . . create a whole family of them . . . having a delightful time on a beautiful spring day . . . or Easter Sunday with an Easter Egg Hunt . . .
This design would look nice on fresh baked cookies . . . or put around the border of an Easter cake . . . just use them as a template for your decorating endeavors. I do like their simple contours and the vintage look they seem to have about them . . . this truly makes them timeless . . . and suitable for all age groups . . .
See what inspires you with these adorable bunnies.

My Yorkshire Terrier Diva and I have been together one year today!!!
This bundle of love arrived to her “forever home” a year ago.
This is truly cause for celebration!!! She’s still training me . . . I can’t imagine my life without her.
This first year has been a joyous adventure . . . with many more years to come. She’s a California girl . . . she doesn’t like the rain . . . she loves the sunshine . . . she loves her walks and her backyard explorations.
I’m sure everyone believes their dog is the smartest and the best . . . and this is how it should be. We are very blessed to have such loyal precious companions.
Diva has been very supportive with my blogging and my crafting. She gets in the thick of things when I’m decorating for each season and holiday. She likes to see what’s in boxes and selects what appeals to her. She prefers the bright colors of Christmas . . . and the smell of toys and goodies in her stocking . . . she does like ribbons and bows . . .
When I’m crafting and discover something missing, I can usually find lace and ribbons in her bed. She does have the decorating spirit.
As I said, this first year has been a joyous adventure for both of us . . . and we look forward to many more to come . . . I believe Diva is a blogger . . . and when I begin doing videos of my crafts . . . Diva will be part of that as well.
My life is truly enriched by having her.
I need to plan a special treat for us . . .

Why?
I haven’t a clue, but people do it.
This is an easy way to do it without a lot of fuss and mess.
You’ll need eggs, of course, a bulb syringe or nasal aspirator and a bowl for the egg goo.
Just poke a small hole in the top of your egg and a larger hole in the bottom of your egg. Then firmly press the aspirator against the top or smaller hole and gently blow the air into the egg.
The egg contents will then drop through the larger hole and into the bowl. You may have to do this several times to make sure you got all the egg goo out of your egg shell.
You then wash out your egg shell and dry them . . .
You can then die your eggs and do all kinds of fancy stuff to your egg shells. You may want to decoupage them and use them in a garland or wreath in honor of Easter. You may want to decorate them to keep them throughout the year. You can paint them, put lace and ribbon around them, even bead them . . . and there is also carving them very carefully.
There are several things you can do . . . just allow your imagination to soar.
Remember to keep your egg carton to store them safely from breaking.
Have fun! I hope you learned something new here . . . I did.
Until next time,

Paranormal Vs. Crazy
Have you watched a movie with a paranormal theme . . . and then discovered that the lead character was actually mentally ill?
For those of you who have seen, The Attic . . . I don’t want to ruin it for those who haven’t . . . so this is a spoiler alert!
There is a woman who sees a woman . . . a dobbelganger? or a twin? . . . that prevents her from leaving the house . . . but she’s also in the house . . . and in the attic . . .
I can accept the fact that others may be messing with her mind . . . but in the end . . . a new family look at the house . . . initially the daughter expresses her fear of it . . . but does go into the attic and meets a spirit . . .
When Delving Into The Paranormal Are We Walking A Fine Line?
Our experiences are not usually prove-able.
We see things, we feel things . . . we get scared by things . . . is it real? . . . or figments of our imagination?
I believe in the paranormal . . . I’ve had too many experiences not to . . . plus I’ve met too many people with similar experiences . . .
I just know that when a house tries to possess you . . . is that even possible? It’s time to seek professional assistance.
There is usually a logical explanation for many disturbances within a house . . . but there are also things that can’t be explained . . . and the simple solution is to say the person is mentally ill. This is unfortunate . . . or the person has no choice but to do as the woman in the movie did . . . Don’t want to do a total spoiler here.
As I’ve said before and most likely will say again and again . . . what is the creepiest for me are homes and common areas where we go regularly. Places that are supposed to be safe.
I had once thought that spirits can’t harm you . . . but they can . . . and they do . . . sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident . . . maybe due to our own fear we fall down stairs or out a window . . . but when knives are being thrown . . . that’s no accident.
I’d like to tell you a true story . . . not one about scary stuff . . . something light and reassuring.
A good friend of my mother’s was in a nursing home suffering from cancer.
Harriett was unable to walk and care for herself. Her daughter had no choice but to put her mother in a nursing home. So my mother visited her daily. She helped her eat . . . and sat with her while she slept.
One morning I saw Harriett’s ghost walking around the house. She seemed to be looking for something . . . or someone . . . probably my mother who was out shopping before going to visit Harriett.
When my mother returned home, I told her I saw Harriett walking around the house, looking for her.
My mother took it as a sign that Harriett had passed and was able to walk . . . her way of letting my mother know she was all right. A few minutes latter, Beth, Harriett’s daughter called to tell my mother Harriett had passed in her sleep.
Not all ghosts are scary or manipulative. They do come around to let you know they’re all right . . . and sometimes to check up on you . . . just to let you know they still love you.
It is reassuring that there are psychics and paranormal investigators available to contact if you find you have spirits in your house that need to move on . . . there are those that are harmful and cause disturbances in our lives. Some have brought on illnesses . . . sometimes the removal of these entities don’t take the illness with them . . . they remain for the living to deal with . . . so the sooner you can rid your house or work place of these entities that affect your health, the better.
We are living at a time where there are still skeptics, but there are more with open minds . . . we aren’t immediately labeled crazy.
Until next time,
Sharon

It’s Good To Have Some Fun With Your Easter Sunday Breakfast
Pancakes seem to be the best place to begin when creating a holiday breakfast . . . or brunch.
The batter works well when making the various shapes . . . like the ears . . . and using large and small ovals for the head, body and feet. Then the fun begins with adding fruit and whipped cream for the tail.
I’m sure you can create some ideas of your own. The image is only the beginning.
You can stack your pancakes the other way and decorate the face rather than the tail . . . or just do the face and add cheese and fruit . . . The possibilities are absolutely endless.
The trick is to find food your children like . . . and make it fun.
And, older children and adults may get into the spirit and enjoy the fun creative breakfasts from their childhood. It’s quite nice to relive your childhood . . . for the moment. We all need a bit of merriment during the various holidays to bring joy into our lives.
Let’s put some fun into our daily celebrations . . . not just for special holidays . . . celebrate spring with flower pancakes or use hearts regularly to let your family know how much you love them. We probably don’t tell them enough . . . or we need to show it rather tell them.
I hope this gave you some ideas for your own Easter Breakfast . . . whether with family or alone . . . you can make every day special.
Until next time,
Sharon
