Yes, I May Be A Bit Late With This
But a free printable is welcome any ol’ time as far as I’m concerned.
R2-D2 has always been a favorite Star Wars droid. And, right here, right now you can click the image and print it out. You’ll need to assemble it, but that’s fun to do. And then you can have your very own droid.
It’s a great craft for your kids . . . depending upon their age. Print out several and they’ll have plenty to make and share with their friends.
I know of several adults who would love to have one of these little guys on their desk or book shelf. It is a definite conversation piece.
Soon, all family and friends would be asking you where you got it . . . and if you could make one for them.
I do love these 3D images from family.disney.com they are colorful and great fun to print out and assemble.
I hope you enjoy this R2-D2 Paper Craft.

I Found This Great Thanksgiving Cootie Catcher
It’s a way of getting everyone to think of how thankful they are for so many of life’s blessings.
This is fun for kids and adults, too. I hope you enjoy it.
You can get the Cootie Catcher Here.
Some like printing it out on card stock so it doesn’t wear out as quickly, but regular printing paper works fine. It may actually be easier for folding.
I like this cootie catcher. Here’s a quick look inside:
- How can you show people that you are grateful?
- How do you feel when you say Thank You to someone?
- Three things I’ve Thankful for today are.
- Why is it important to be grateful for things in your life?
- Which book are you thankful for reading?
This may get everyone talking about their memories of personal experiences they’re grateful for having — maybe not at the time, but now that you’ve had time to reflect. It’s a wonderful activity for young and old to share their thoughts and feelings.
And the Assembly Instructions.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

With the onset of “Back to School” it seems fitting to present Ray Keim’s Haunted Dimensions Skoolhouse
I love these paper crafts! I’ve made several of them and created my own Haunted Display — Not just for Halloween, but all year round.
Just click the image and you’ll be taken to the PDF.
This old schoolhouse has seen better days . . . maybe it’s a good idea for it to look as though it’s falling down to keep children and adults away. Now, it seems this schoolhouse has a horrifying history . . . according to legend . . . children started disappearing . . . their remains have never been found, but it was believed that Jack the Janitor abducted the children and took them down to the basement which served as Jack’s “office” . . .
It’s these children that were murdered down in the school’s basement that are believed to haunt the old skoolhouse . . . but there are many legends . . . of many school houses throughout the United States and beyond.
I like this Skoolhouse, not because of the many legends, but because it is a place we’re all familiar with . . . school . . . and many don’t have fond memories of their school days . . . and many do . . . and many have mixed feelings . . . but all schools were a bit spooky after hours when it was empty . . . or we thought it was empty . . .
Enjoy your Skoolhouse . . . it will be a welcome addition to your haunted display this Halloween . . .
Please leave me a comment about this free printable.

We’re officially into the summer season. I don’t know whether to celebrate or cry . . . it’s not my favorite season because it lasts so very long . . . but I must be grateful for the seasons we do get in Southern California.
It’s been much cooler today . . . another reason for me to be grateful . . .
Little Miss Diva has become much more vocal lately . . . I’ll let her guest post on this website now, it’s a risk — I have no idea what’s on her mind . . .
I have my first birthday coming up in 7 days. I’ve been inspecting all the bags Mom brings in, but nothing interesting like toys and Diva Tr
eats. Well, there was that roast beef . . . maybe Mom will surprise me with some more of that.
I think Mom might have some packages in the car she hasn’t brought in yet. I’ve been so good lately . . . well, I do bark when Mom’s working on the computer and talking on the phone . . . but I did bark at the neighbor this morning when he was working in his yard. I’m a good watch dog. I didn’t chase the cat that ran out of the hedge. Mom’s telling me to stay away from cats with a white stripe down their back . . . she called it something else, but I’m remembering the important stuff . . . I just won’t chase cats of any color.
Wow! I have a whole 7 days to be good.
It won’t be that difficult . . . I’ll just act cute and Mom will laugh and tell me what a sweet beautiful little girl I am. Yep, I do have my Mom wrapped around my little paw. Mom and I are going to be taking some “selfies” for Yvette and Diane, Yvette was my first Mom, she took good care of me ever since I was born and Diane took my picture and put them up on her website so my new Mom would see them and fall in love with me. It worked!!!
All I can really say about my new Mom is that she loves me . . . even though she took me to the vet who is a nice lady, by the way, and I had an operation and my teeth were cleaned and I got a shot in my rump. I didn’t like that shot very much, but the vet did have some tasty treats she gave me.
Mom says I’m going to the groomer this week to get all spruced up for my birthday. I don’t know about someone strange messing with my pretty fur. I wouldn’t mind the bath and a little trim, but I don’t know what Mom has in mind or what this groomer person is going to do. It is summer . . . maybe a short cut wouldn’t be too awful, but I’ll have to see . . . and if it doesn’t look good, I’ll have to beg Mom for some clothes and a hat to wear while my pretty fur grows out . . . maybe a pair of sunglasses, too. And absolutely no pictures!!!
I’m going to go play now. I have some old toys to chew on and toss around . . . then maybe a little nap . . . this guest blogging is a lot of work.
I do thank Miss Diva for her contribution on this blog post . . . she’s all tuckered out . . .
Besides little Diva’s birthday, summer brings on the thought of the 4th of July. I do love boxes I can make up for my guests filled with goodies. I found a wonderful website called Wings of Whimsy. There was just the right free printable I was looking for . . . a vintage red, white and blue triangular box. This isn’t the finished picture of it, but these boxes are included in the free printable.

You just need to Click Here for the free template.

Here’s a frightening pair of Monsters you can make along with the rings.
This is a good use for the old boxes you have ready for the recycle bin. I think making a game would be a better use for the cardboard. And it’s a great way to keep the kids busy when school is out.
This Monster Ring Toss Game could be a bit mild and too easy for those with great hand-eye coordination . . . but the distance does make it a definite challenge. It’s a fun game for home, either playing alone or playing with others — you could also do a right-hand vs. a left-hand toss. It would be easy to come up with variations to the game. I was wondering about adding a spring to the bottom of them, so they would be moving. A moving target is more difficult to catch than a sitting one. I’m sure you can come up with variations that would be age approriate. You don’t want it too easy . . . or too difficult.

I hope you’ll make this ring toss game, it should be a lot of fun for the kids and adults alike.
