When I found these rhythm shoes, I couldn’t stop laughing!!
They’re great!! It’s like in the old days when there were dance lessons kits where you set the shoe patterns on the floor and would step on them to music.
Well, this has the dance steps in the shoes!!
You can learn many different dance styles, too. It is truly amazing!
You may want to see it for yourself and I have a great video to share with you. No, I’m not dancing, but I can relate to having two left feet and looking awkward.
What do you think?
I have no idea where to buy them or at what price, but I’m sure in time they will be all the rage and you’ll know about them first!! Because you saw it here at TwoCansOnAString.com!!!
I know I need to be careful not to break my arm from patting myself on the back 🙂
It’s always fun to find something new and cutting edge that could be the next hot item on your Christmas shopping list. It’s never too early to plan ahead. And think about those summer weddings you’ll be invited to . . . or just social gatherings. Dancing often times is at play and you won’t want to be a wallflower, now would you.
These “rhythm shoes” may make a positive difference in your life.
It’s just been a handful of years ago that I went from desk top to tap top . . . Now, tablets!!!
I do have a Kindle!!!
When it comes to all the greatest and latest . . . I’m way behind. Yet, I do have an open mind about all this . . . and tablets do have their place in the household of gizmos. I finally decided a cell phone was a necessity . . . but you can’t go by my lack of enthusiasm about electronic stuff. But, I am delighted with WiFi in my home . . . it makes it so convenient for using my laptop and getting the printer to print things out without manually going to it . . . except for keeping the ink levels up and having paper . . . I’m wondering how they’ll make that happen . . . robots?
I was talking with my cousin a few weeks ago about tablets . . . but my eyes glazed over . . . So, today I’ve decided to look into the matter and see what all the fuss is about.
Since I have a laptop, do I need a tablet?
It depends upon how mobile I want to be.
It’s easier to carry a tablet than a laptop. And, what will I want to do with it while I’m out and about running errands or waiting for an appointment?
I can readily see a tablet is worthwhile. Yet, my laptop will do so much more . . . but will I be researching for my blog or writing my blog while I’m out and about? Most likely not, but I would like to be able to check things out online and maybe even watching a movie while I’m waiting for an appointment.
So, a tablet would come in handy. Also, for playing games . . . that would amuse me.
Yet, do I really need a tablet if I had a smart phone?
I’m going to keep my laptop . . . that’s a necessity with my blog websites.
And, since I decided a cell phone is a necessity . . . I can get a smart phone and do the odd things on it that a tablet would provide . . . and the smart phone can make calls and receive them . . . which a tablet can’t do.
Are tablets on their way out?
It appears so . . . the smart phones are offering so much more. And are much more convenient to carry around.
I’m leaning toward investing in a smart phone over a tablet. And it would benefit other members of the family as well.
If, I was going to make an investment on an electronic device this year . . . I’d go with a smart phone over a tablet. I could play the odd game and do some research or shopping . . . take pictures and also video something . . . A smart phone has a tablet beat.
I see kids with their smart phones . . . many do YouTube videos with them. They’ve made a business reviewing products and doing their vlogs . . . A smart phone seems to be the answer for what to get the family and each family member this Christmas . . .
Yes, it does come down to what is most practical. I’m finding my laptop to be a necessity . . . and now a smart phone. The tablet thing is just a thing or a step towards a smart phone . . . and I want to avoid that tablet step . . .
All right, smart phones . . . Oh good grief where to begin!!!
It all comes down to price and what one wants it to do. Here are some links to get you moving in the right direction . . . or to make you more confused.
Thanks for stopping by and going through this process with me. You may have been wondering about tablets . . . I hope I’ve helped you.
It’s exciting news when I can announce something so incredible as Amazon Echo. It’s designed around your voice. It’s hands-free, always on and has 7 microphones with beam-forming technology.
Echo can hear you from across the room even with music and family sounds in the background. You ask and Echo responds instantly — you can ask about the weather, sports scores, news and it will play music or read an audio book to you . . . it connects to Alexa, a cloud-based voice service.
You absolutely must click the image of Amazon Echo to learn more. It will definitely blow you away.
Amazon Echo won’t be available until July 14, 2015, but you can order it now. I have several people on my gift list who will absolutely flip over this! It’s a gift that will continue giving.

I was at my local garden supply center getting things together for my garden. I met a woman there who was telling me all about the rodent problem she was having in her home. Quite frankly the thought was a bit disgusting to me, but it did get me thinking. I’ve seen Victor products all of my life, but I never stopped to think about it. Whenever there was an unwanted guest that took up residence, I had someone to take care of it, but now, it’s time for me to educate myself about rodents that come and decide to stay. Well, there’s no shame in attracting one. If you have pets, they like the pet food. The important thing is to get rid of it/them as soon and as humane as possible.
There are plenty of traps on the market and people have become very clever in their way of ridding their lives of rodents. You need to keep in mind the safety of other family members — yes, that includes pets. You also need to realize that these rodents are very clever. Some traps just don’t work as well as others. When it comes to being humane, the quicker the better. So I got investigating the various traps and I found one that has batteries and zaps the rat in this case with 8500 volts to kill the rat quickly while its munching on the snack you put in the trap. One important key to remember, this trap works, just as others do — it’s the bait. You have to have the right bait. Peanut Butter is suggested, but dog food works and whatever you’ve found the rodent enjoys. That includes nuts, bird seed, grass seed . . . just about anything.
You put 4 C Cell Batteries in the compartment and you’re ready to get that dirty rat that’s been messing up your house with droppings and ripped bags of food. It is economical, one set of batteries will kill 50 rats. Oh good grief, I hope there aren’t 50 rats around here! A green light will indicate you got one! Well, in the case of a rat, you know you got it — the thing is in the trap. This trap looks like a mail box, I like it because you handle the outside. You bait it from the outside and when you see it’s occupied you just turn it off, pick it up and take it to the trash barrel to be emptied. Â You don’t need to worry about spring action clips to lift up and release the rat. I don’t want to get up close and person with the dirty thing. Once the trap is empty you check the bait and you’re ready to set it and turn it on for another intruder. You’ll likely make your second kill quicker than the first because your scent won’t be on it — your previous guest will leave hishers.
Here’s a YouTube Video I found informative:
I also know there are sensors that encourage rodents to stay outside the house. That’s wonderful, but if one happened to get in, it’s best to know ya got it and it won’t be getting into stuff again. Â But the method is entirely up to you.
I’ve reviewed this kid’s tablet once before, but with summer coming sooner than we think, it would be excellent to have this on-hand for the kids to keep up with their reading and fun time. With Fire HD Kid’s Tablet your children won’t be bored with nothing to do.
It comes with excellent parent controls so you won’t have to worry that the kids ordered something. You can also limit the time for games and apps and give an unlimited amount of time for reading. Or you can limit that, too, so kids get some exercise time outside.
It’s an excellent tablet that the whole family can enjoy.
